Privacy
1. Preamble
This Privacy Policy explains how Lorettia LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and processes personal data of users and customers of this website, in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and — where applicable — the EU GDPR for visitors located in the European Economic Area.
We are committed to processing your personal data lawfully, fairly, transparently and only for the purposes set out in this policy.
2. Data controller
Lorettia LLC, a limited liability company (LLC) registered in the State of Washington, United States, with its registered office at 25 Main Street, Seattle, WA, USA, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We are established in the United States and have no establishment in the United Kingdom or the European Union; the UK GDPR and, where applicable, the EU GDPR nevertheless apply to our processing because we offer goods to individuals in the United Kingdom and the European Union (Article 3(2) of each Regulation). You can contact us at contact@lorettia.com. A Data Protection Officer (DPO) will be appointed if and when our activities trigger the obligation under Article 37 of the UK GDPR.
Representative in the United Kingdom (Article 27 UK GDPR) and representative in the European Union (Article 27 EU GDPR): contact details available on request at contact@lorettia.com.

8. International data transfers
As we are established in the United States, your personal data is processed in the United States, in particular for order management, customer service and accounting. Some of our processors (notably for hosting, analytics and payments) may also be located outside the UK and the EEA.
These transfers are covered by the safeguards provided for in Articles 44 et seq. of the UK GDPR and of the EU GDPR: the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission (together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, for data of individuals in the United Kingdom) or, where the recipient is certified, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, supplemented where appropriate by additional security measures such as encryption. A copy of these safeguards is available on request at contact@lorettia.com.

- Right to object: on grounds relating to your particular situation, and at any time without justification for direct marketing.
- Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine- readable format.

To exercise your rights, please contact us at contact@lorettia.com, attaching proof of identity where required. We will respond within one month (extendable by two months for complex requests). If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country of residence: in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO, ico.org.uk); in France, the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL, www.cnil.fr); in another EU Member State, its national supervisory authority.
10. Automated decisions and profiling
We may use automated techniques for payment fraud prevention and marketing personalisation (segmentation, product recommendations). These processes do not produce legal effects concerning you and are subject to human oversight. You can object to these processes at any time by contacting us.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access. Measures include end-to-end TLS encryption, password hashing, role-based access controls, audit logging of sensitive operations, regular backups, environment segregation, ongoing patching of our systems and periodic security testing.
In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you without undue delay in accordance with Article 34 of the UK GDPR and report the breach to the ICO and any other competent supervisory authority within 72 hours where required.
12. Children's data
Our services are not aimed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data relating to children. If you believe a child has shared personal data with us, please contact us so we can delete it.
